The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride Lisboa 2025, a charitable initiative, is set to bring together classic motorcycle enthusiasts dressed in elegant, vintage attire for a parade aimed at raising awareness for men's health issues, specifically prostate cancer and mental health programs. The event, scheduled for Sunday, May 18th, will also fundraise for the Movember Association.
Under the motto “Riding For Men’s Health”, this edition will take place simultaneously in over 107 countries and 800 cities worldwide. In Portugal, parades will occur in various locations including the Algarve, Angra do Heroísmo, Aveiro, Braga, and more, with Lisbon's event organized by Jumpers Lifestyle.
Lisbon's event kicks off at 9:00 AM at Cinema São Jorge, coinciding with the Lisbon Motorcycle Film Fest (LMFF), and will parade to the Hipódromo Manuel Possolo in Cascais. From 10:00 AM, attendees can enjoy an exhibition and gathering of vehicles, along with a diverse program featuring concerts, a barbershop, commercial spaces, and gastronomy.

The initiative challenges all riders to dress elegantly in period attire and ride their classic motorcycles for a noble cause, aiming to raise around 20 thousand euros this year. Last year's event in Lisbon and surrounding areas saw 1,200 motorcycles and raised 15 thousand euros for the Movember foundation.
Founded in Sydney, Australia, by Mark Hawwa, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride was inspired by a photo of TV's "Mad Men's Don Draper" riding a classic motorcycle in his finest suit. The event connects niche motorcycle communities worldwide while fundraising to support men's health.
