Zodiac Significance
According to the Chinese calendar, which is based on lunar cycles, the new year began on January 29 under the sign of the Snake, one of the 12 zodiac animals. Wang Haohua, a renowned astrologer, noted that the Snake symbolizes wisdom and agility in Chinese culture.
These celebrations are organized by the Lisbon City Council, the Embassy of China, and the Chinese Spring Festival Association.
