Lisbon is gearing up for a magical Christmas season at Rossio Square. From November 14 to December 21, Praça D. Pedro IV will turn into an enchanting world filled with lights, music, and interactive experiences for all ages.

This year, in addition to the traditional wooden huts offering crafts, typical sweets, and unique gifts, the market introduces new features like a temporary ice rink and creative workshops. Here, children and adults can make their own Christmas decorations and treats.

The famous Christmas Train returns, now fully electric and free, winding through the streets of Baixa Pombalina with themed lighting and surprises on every ride.

Daily, the arrival of Santa Claus is accompanied by the Christmas Parade, featuring circus artists, dancers, and fantastical characters, creating enchanting moments and photo opportunities for the whole family.

The musical lineup keeps traditions alive with concerts by artists such as Micaela, Sérgio Rossi, and Karina, along with choirs, folk groups, philharmonic bands, and accordion players. Another highlight is the revamped Doll Exhibition, with over 190 years of history, continuing to delight collectors and families.

With all these activities, Rossio promises to make Lisbon a fairy-tale city where every visit celebrates the Christmas spirit.

The market operates Sunday to Thursday from 10 AM to 10 PM, and on Fridays, Saturdays, and holiday eves from 10 AM to 11 PM.
