Operational assistants play a crucial role in schools, managing entrances, cleaning classrooms, and resolving conflicts. Without them, schools cannot function properly. However, there are currently fewer operational assistants than needed, and their salaries are just above the minimum wage.

Today, they are staging another strike to demand better recognition and rights. They assert that if teachers have successfully reclaimed their service time, they too deserve the same consideration.
