The event was co-financed by the Norte 2030 regional program, and the formal opening ceremony took place at Theatro Circo, attended by the Minister of Culture, Dalila Rodrigues.

Cultural Celebration

At the same time, at the Basilica of Congregados, Kara-Lis Coverdale mesmerized the audience with a unique organ performance, blending her electronic music background with liturgical organ playing to create an atmosphere of introspection.

In another cultural venue, the Adelina Caravana Auditorium hosted a performance uniting the traditional sounds of the Minho Women's Singing Group with the vibrant talent of students from the Calouste Gulbenkian Music Conservatory, marking the debut of the Raiz Club, dedicated to celebrating traditional music from Braga.

Diverse Cultural Performance

The Theatro Circo also showcased a diverse cultural celebration with the interdisciplinary show “Chimera,” which combined art, dance, and music under the artistic direction of John Romão, featuring 43 dancers, including 34 from Braga's folkloric groups and 8 breakdancers, exploring the dynamics of movement.
