Protest Against Immigration in Lisbon

On Sunday, the Chega party has organized a significant protest against immigration, with André Ventura estimating participation of over 3,000 people. He claims this will be the largest demonstration yet in the fight against immigration.

March Details

The march will commence at Alameda D. Afonso Henriques and proceed to Martim Moniz Square. Concurrently, a counter-demonstration supporting the immigrant community is also scheduled along the same route.

Official Response

The PSP (Public Security Police) has expressed concerns, providing a negative opinion on the simultaneous occurrence of both gatherings. Nevertheless, both protests are expected to proceed as planned.
