Welcome the New Year with Creativity at MAR Shopping Algarve
The New Year kicks off on the right foot with ‘Dominguinhos’, where imagination, creativity, and traditions converge to welcome 2025! January brings activities that promise to delight children and inspire family bonding moments. From the magical gifts of the Three Wise Men to inspiring stories and creative workshops, Sunday mornings will be filled with fun and unforgettable learning experiences.
Activities Overview
The first activity of the program, happening on January 5, invites the little ones to celebrate Three Kings Day in a special way, with a creative workshop dedicated to crafting unique gifts. Inspired by the Three Wise Men and their symbolic offerings, children will get hands-on experience creating a sweet and special gift. This activity beautifully combines tradition with creativity while promoting sharing and the festive spirit that still lingers in the air.
This event is part of the family educational mornings of the 'Dominguinhos' at MAR Shopping Algarve. The free program takes place weekly at 11:00 AM and features various playful and educational activities, held in-person at the Meeting Place, specifically in the children's area on Floor 0, next to the Centroxogo/IKEA store.

Free children’s cinema sessions return in the first half of 2025. On January 4, the film Robot Selvagem will be screened. Roz, a robot from the ROZZUM 7134 model, awakens on a deserted island after an accident with her ship. To survive, she must adapt to her new environment, learning to face challenges and connect with local wildlife, including a cheeky fox named Fink and a gosling she adopts named Brightbill.
