New Year's Eve Metro Service in Lisbon
If you're planning to celebrate New Year's Eve in the streets of Lisbon, there's great news for you! The Lisbon Metro will be operating later than usual on the Blue and Green lines.

As we countdown to 2024, the Lisbon Metro has announced that it will run until 3:00 AM on the night of New Year's Eve (from December 31 to January 1). This means you can enjoy the festivities without worrying about transportation!
Additionally, here are the stations open until dawn:
- Blue Line: Reboleira, Amadora Este, Pontinha, Colégio Militar/Luz, Jardim Zoológico, São Sebastião, Marquês de Pombal, Restauradores, and Baixa Chiado.
- Green Line: Telheiras, Campo Grande, Areeiro, Alameda, Anjos, Rossio, Baixa-Chiado, and Cais do Sodré.
It's important to note that due to scheduled events at Terreiro do Paço, the Metro station in this area will close earlier on December 31 at 5:00 PM, reopening only at 6:30 AM on January 1.
