Faro's 3rd Nautical Week is set to make waves again, organized by the Faro Municipality as the coordinating entity of the Faro Nautical Station. Scheduled from May 26 to June 1, this event is becoming a hallmark in the region, aiming to highlight local nautical resources, boost sustainable tourism, and engage the community in a comprehensive, educational, and fun experience.
The week promises a diverse and inclusive program, thanks to the collaboration of public and private entities and local tourism operators. Activities are designed to showcase the Ria Formosa and the region's natural heritage, offering everything from boat tours, canoeing, sailing, stand-up paddle, windsurfing, surfing, and kitesurfing to environmental awareness actions, guided tours, museum entries, gastronomic experiences, and thematic exhibitions.
A special focus is placed on educational and social dimensions, with activities tailored for schools, local institutions, and senior groups, ensuring inclusivity and access for all age groups. The Faro Nautical Station, a cooperative platform among over 60 partners, underscores the integrated and qualified offer of nautical products and services, rooted in the valorization of the region's natural and cultural resources.
