Molgas has successfully conducted the first-ever LNG bunkering operation at the Port of Leixões in Portugal, marking a significant step in the country's maritime energy transition.

The operation utilized the multi-truck-to-ship method, establishing a permanent LNG supply point in Portugal. This initiative fuelled Ilma, the newest vessel from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, highlighting the growing adoption of cleaner fuels in the shipping industry.
