Lisbon is set to host the immersive virtual reality exhibition 'Horizon of Khufu: Journey to Ancient Egypt' for the first time, transporting visitors 4,500 years back in time to the Giza Pyramid, one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The inauguration is scheduled for December 5 in the underground hall of Terreiro do Paço metro station.
During approximately 45 minutes, participants will explore the Giza Plateau at sunrise, witness the grandeur of the Sphinx, cross the Nile River in period boats, venture inside the Great Pyramid, and even observe an embalming ceremony.
This initiative is recommended for participants aged 10 and above, accommodating groups of up to 20 people per session, making it ideal for families, students, and history enthusiasts. Tickets are already available, with prices varying based on the chosen time slot.
