Lisbon's Housing Market Soars: A Third of Parishes Now Exceed €5,000 per Square Meter

The pressure on housing prices in Lisbon has led to an increase in the value per square meter in 20 out of the 24 parishes of the capital. The median price per square meter of houses sold in Lisbon in the 12 months ending in March this year rose by 5.3%, reaching €4,412. However, in six parishes, the increase was in double digits, according to data published by the National Statistics Institute (INE).

The group of parishes where prices exceed five thousand euros has now expanded to eight, representing a third of the total, thanks to a 21.8% increase in Campolide, where the price reached €5,021 per square meter.
