After a meeting with the Representative of the Republic for Madeira, Ireneu Barreto, Albuquerque assured that the Regional Government will continue to invest in qualification and education policies. "We hope to maintain the policies that have been pursued to make a decisive bet on the qualification and education of Madeira's new generations," he stated.

Albuquerque highlighted that in the current century, everyone understands that qualifying the youth is essential for societal development. He advocated for an educational system that is transversal and focused on excellence, valuing pedagogical innovation, stability, and motivation among educators, particularly teachers.

Moreover, he stressed the importance of linking the entire educational system to science and technology, viewing it as a foundation for the region's future. "Madeira only has one chance: its greatest wealth is, without a doubt, its people," Albuquerque remarked, adding that this qualification is crucial not only for economic growth but also for equipping young people with a refined critical sense through humanistic training and education.
