The identities of Kayleigh and William were confirmed by British media on Saturday. They were from Cheshire in northwest England and were on holiday in Lisbon. The couple had posted a series of 19 photos on social media with the caption "Lisbon Day 1: Churches and castles, tiles and trams," showcasing iconic spots like the Castelo de São Jorge and the Mosteiro de São Vicente de Fora.

Another British victim, an 82-year-old man, was also reported, though his name has not been released yet.
