The AD coalition wrapped up its campaign in Famalicão this Saturday, focusing on mobilizing voters and bolstering the image of Luís Montenegro's integrity. Montenegro expressed his sense of duty, stating he feels "the responsibility of being this country's beacon." Meanwhile, Nuno Melo emphasized that "the coalition the CDS has is with the PSD and no one else," and José Pedro Aguiar-Branco, head of the list for Viana do Castelo and President of the Assembly of the Republic, stressed the importance of achieving a "larger majority."
The campaign avoided discussions on post-electoral coalitions, instead aiming to rally the electorate around the idea of a stable and clear majority. Montenegro's leadership and the coalition's unity were central themes, as the AD seeks to position itself as the best option for Portugal's future.
