A New Premium Residential Project in Lisbon
JLL and Porta da Frente Christie's have launched the marketing for Cristino 1932, a new premium residential project located near Saldanha in Lisbon. This development is the result of the rehabilitation of a historic building designed by architect Luís Cristino da Silva, a key figure in Portuguese modernism. The project includes 38 apartments ranging from T1 to T4, with areas between 55 m² and 160 m².
Apartment Breakdown and Features
- 1 T1 apartment at 55 m²
- 17 T2 apartments between 92 m² and 107 m²
- 17 T3 apartments between 114 m² and 149 m²
- 3 T4 apartments between 142 m² and 160 m²
All units come with parking and storage spaces. Prices for the remaining apartments start at 740,000 euros for a 96 m² T2 and go up to 1.19 million euros for a 149 m² T3 with 37 m² of exterior area.

Design and Common Areas
Inspired by the original 1932 aesthetic, the building has been reinterpreted with a contemporary Art Deco concept, blending architectural heritage with modern comfort and sophistication. The project offers common spaces such as a sensory garden, lounge with firepit, reading area, co-working space, and a zen zone. The architectural rehabilitation was handled by RRJ Arquitectos.
Prime Location
Situated just minutes from Avenida da Liberdade, Parque Eduardo VII, and the Gulbenkian Foundation, Cristino 1932 stands out for its central location and proximity to Lisbon's main cultural and commercial areas.

Expert Insights
According to Telmo Azevedo, Co-Head of Residential at JLL Portugal, "Cristino 1932 represents the harmony between design, location, and lifestyle, addressing the shortage of quality residential offerings in central Lisbon."
João Cília, CEO of Porta da Frente Christie's, described it as "a solid investment and a project that reinforces the prime residential market's standard of excellence."
The developer Parimob, responsible for the rehabilitation, emphasizes that the project returns to the city "an abandoned historic building, transforming it into a contemporary living space that values heritage and local identity."
