The Tejo Vintage Train, the most colorful of Comboios de Portugal (CP), is set to return this November with two special editions on the 23rd and 30th. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a journey aboard the famous Schindler carriages featuring panoramic windows, allowing you to fully appreciate the stunning surrounding landscapes.

First Program of the Tejo Vintage Train
In the first option, the train departs from the Santa Apolónia Station in Lisbon at 8:55 AM, heading toward Entroncamento. A major highlight of this route is the chance to visit the National Railway Museum, showcasing over 160 years of history. The return to Lisbon is expected by 8:30 PM.

Second Program of the Tejo Vintage Train
This route is possibly the most beautiful, connecting Lisbon to Castelo Branco. Passengers can admire breathtaking landscapes and monuments along the way. Remember to bring a power bank to keep your phone charged, as you will want to capture every moment!
The train leaves Santa Apolónia Station at 8:55 AM, with the return from Castelo Branco at 5:28 PM, arriving back in the capital at 8:32 PM.
Additional Information
Both programs include typical sweets and a historical recreation of the journey taken by King D. Carlos I and Queen D. Amélia on the Beira Baixa Line.
Ticket prices vary based on the distance:
- Adults: 27€ for Program 1 and 43€ for Program 2
- Children (ages 4-12): 16€ for the first and 22€ for the second
- Groups (minimum of 10): Adults pay 24€ for Program 1 and 39€ for Program 2; Children pay 15€ and 19€, respectively.
