Event Details and Location
The 9th International Orchid Exhibition of Lisbon will be held at the Mercado de Santa Clara, near the Feira da Ladra, on November 28, 29, and 30. Organized by the Portuguese Orchid Association (APO), this event promises to be a true paradise for flower enthusiasts, showcasing an impressive variety of orchids from around the world.

Exotic and Rare Plants on Display
Beyond orchids, the exhibition will feature specimens from producers and collectors, including rare varieties from Brazil and Africa. Visitors can not only admire but also savor the aroma of these natural wonders.
For all botany lovers, the event will include exhibitors dedicated to bonsais, tillandsias (air plants), bromeliads, cacti, succulents, and other tropical plants.
Judging and Awards
Following the tradition of previous years, the plants will be evaluated by a panel of specialized judges using the international "Ribbon Judging – Best In Show" model. They will award the most impressive specimens with prizes.
Additional Offerings
In addition to the floral displays, attendees will have access to derived products such as liqueurs, chocolates, and even jewelry. The APO will also offer lectures on cultivation and uses of these plants.
