Metro Ticket Prices in Lisbon are about to see a slight increase in 2025, but monthly passes remain unchanged. The Lisbon Metro has announced that while monthly Navigators and 30-day passes will maintain their prices, the occasional tickets will experience a price hike.
New Ticket Prices
- The Carris/Metro ticket will now cost €1.85, an increase of €0.05.
- The Zapping ticket will be priced at €1.66.
- For those using a bank card or the Viva Go card, the ticket will also be €1.85.
- Daily tickets will see the following prices:
- Carris/Metro: €7.00
- Carris/Metro/Transtejo (Cacilhas): €10.00
- Carris/Metro/CP: €11.00
These changes comply with Portaria nº. 298/2018 and Regulamento n.º 430/2019, which set the general rules for fare updates. The Lisbon Metropolitan Council has confirmed that in 2025, the monthly Navigator pass will remain at €40, while other pass types will continue at €30 and €60 respectively.
