Experience the Best of Electronic Music

Artists like Underworld, The Blaze, Nina Kraviz, Jeff Mills, Marcel Dettmann, and Max Cooper will perform this weekend at Parque Eduardo VII as part of the Sónar Lisboa 2025 festival, which blends music, creativity, and technology.

In its 4th edition, the festival aims to connect big international names with the most exciting local scenes, featuring around fifty performances to celebrate the present and explore the future of electronic music and club culture.

Two Festivals in One

The Sónar Lisboa 2025 brings together two festivals: Sónar by Day on Saturday and Sunday, and Sónar by Night this Friday and Saturday. During Sónar by Day, performances will take place across three stages, two outdoors and one indoors, while Sónar by Night promises a complete clubbing experience on a single stage.

Headliners and Emerging Artists

The lineup is led by major figures such as The Blaze, Modeselektor, Underworld, Nina Kraviz, Richie Hawtin DEX EFX X0X, Jeff Mills, and Jennifer Cardini. New shows include “EXHIBIT” by Anetha, “My Own Shadow” by Marcel Dettmann, and “Lattice 3D/AV” by Max Cooper.

Among the emerging artists featured are KI/KI, Héctor Oaks, Or:la, Gabber Eleganza with “The Hakke Show”, ISAbella, Clementaum, Dee Diggs, BASHKKA, Ogazón, JASSS, Valesuchi, RHR, NOIA, and Josh Caffé.

Additionally, part of the programming is managed by labels and collectives Príncipe x TraTraTrax, Dengo Club, and Enchufada, connecting Lisbon's vibrant underground with scenes from around the world, featuring artists like Lua de Santana, DJ Firmeza, Nick León, Mu540, San Farafina, Bitter Babe, Pedro da Linha, and DJ Lycox.

Sónar+D: Creative Technologies

The Sónar+D program, dedicated to creative technologies, includes three masterclasses from digital artists Boldtron, visual artist duo Hamill Industries, and curator Kaitlyn Davies, alongside creative technologist Brian Wong, who has around 84,000 neurons and 500 million synapses this Friday.

Upcoming Events

Sónar Lisboa marks the beginning of the 2025 Sónar season, which will then take the best of electronic music to Sónar Istanbul on May 9-10, followed by the 32nd edition of Sónar Barcelona on June 12-14, featuring Portuguese musician and producer Branko among the confirmed artists.

The Sónar festival has been held since 1994 in Barcelona and made its debut in Lisbon in 2022.
