Algarve Hosts Conference on Health and Territorial Cohesion
On September 16 at 2:00 PM, the University of Algarve in Faro will host the conference "Territories with Health: The Community Pharmacy as an Agent of Cohesion". This event aims to foster reflection on the role of local structures in promoting equitable access to healthcare across Portugal.
The opening will be led by Ana de Freitas, Vice-Rector of the University of Algarve, and Carlos Guerrero, Director of the Faculty of Sciences and Technology at the same university. The program includes a debate featuring Carlos Baía, Councilor of Faro Municipality; Luís Coelho, Director of the Faculty of Economics at the University of Algarve; Tiago Botelho, President of the Board of Directors of ULS Algarve; Margarida Espírito Santo from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology; and Miguel Samora from the National Association of Pharmacies.
