The only aerial asset of the Arcos de Valdevez Air Resources Center is currently out of service following a collision with a vineyard trellis in São Jorge e Ermelo this Wednesday. The incident was confirmed by the mayor.
Details of the Incident:
- The helicopter was landing to pick up four members of the Permanent Intervention Team (EIP) when it hit the trellis, damaging one of its blades.
- All occupants, including the pilot, landed safely with no injuries reported.
- The helicopter remains at the site, awaiting repairs by mechanics. A replacement is expected to arrive by Thursday.
