Chinese Businessman Fights Off Armed Robbers in Lisbon for the Third Time

A Chinese businessman who was transporting a suitcase containing one million euros was targeted in an armed robbery in Lisbon last Friday. This marks the third time he has been attacked in the city under similar circumstances.

The victim, along with his bodyguard, managed to frighten off the assailants by firing shots. Both the businessman and his bodyguard were armed at the time of the incident.

Following the attempted robbery, the PSP (Public Security Police) of Lisbon arrested a Brazilian couple in connection with the crime. The suspects have been placed in preventive detention as the investigation continues.

This alarming pattern of attacks highlights ongoing security concerns for high-value targets in Lisbon, raising questions about safety measures and criminal activity in the area.
