Continente Bom Dia has opened its 90th store in Lisbon, specifically in the Largo da Graça, one of the city's most emblematic neighborhoods. This new outlet, spanning 622 square meters, is more than just a store; it's a community-focused space designed to meet the daily needs of local residents with fresh, quality products and a friendly, neighborhood spirit.
With 17 employees, the store features a self-service fishmonger, butcher section, and bakery, ensuring a wide range of fresh products are available. For customer convenience, it offers 3 traditional checkouts and 3 self-checkout options.
Elisângela Monteiro, the store manager with 18 years of experience at the company, highlights the store's role in the proximity strategy of MC, aiming to provide excellence and affordability in products, from fresh goods to private labels.
Sustainability is a key focus, with the store equipped with energy and water-efficient solutions, including 100% LED low-consumption lighting and systems to reduce waste and excessive water use.
In line with Missão Continente's commitment to the community, the store has donated shopping carts filled with essential goods to local institutions: Refood Penha de França, supporting vulnerable families, and Associação Mums & Kids, aiding underprivileged mothers and children. These organizations will receive ongoing support through daily food surpluses from the new store.
