Moto2 and Moto3 Pre-Season Tests at Algarve International Circuit
In February 2025, the world's top riders in the Moto2 and Moto3 categories will converge at the Algarve International Circuit (AIA) for their pre-season testing ahead of the new racing season. The official start of the season will take place in Thailand from February 28 to March 2.
The Portimão circuit has announced that the testing will span four days: the first two days (February 10 and 11) will be dedicated to Moto3 teams and riders, while the last two days (February 12 and 13) will focus on the Moto2 category, allowing these teams to hit the track.
As the new season approaches, Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira will debut with his new team, Yamaha/Pramac, during the Thailand race. Additionally, the AIA will host the penultimate race of the season from November 7 to 9. Excitingly, 26 riders are expected to compete in the Moto3 category, and 30 contenders will vie for the title in Moto2.
