Some events kick off today, December 28, with concerts and various activities. However, the headline acts will be reserved for December 31. Here's a roundup of the most popular spots to ring in 2025 with music and joy, from the eastern to the western Algarve, and into Alentejo.

Monte Gordo

In Monte Gordo, the festivities feature Calema, Maninho, and Danni Gato over several days. The event starts today, with Maninho leading the night at 11:30 PM, followed by Galopim and DJ Miax. Other notable performances include Sugaland on December 29, DJ Danni Gato on December 30, and the highlight act Calema on December 31. The night will culminate in a fireworks display at midnight.

Tavira

Tavira's New Year's celebration will take place at Praça da República from 10 PM to 4 AM, featuring the event “Revenge of the 2000’s.” Expect fun, energy, and performances from Miguel Galão, MCs Fausto Belluci and Carolina Torres, along with the resident band The Seems.
