The Judicial Police (PJ) arrested four foreign nationals on Tuesday for drug trafficking in Idanha-a-Nova. The arrests took place during the Boom Festival 2025, where the suspects were allegedly selling various illicit substances to event attendees.
According to the PJ, the detainees include three men and one woman, aged 23, 29, 33, and 35.
During the operation, authorities seized:
- 32 grams of MDMA
- 21 grams of DMT (a natural psychedelic substance)
- 76 individual doses of ketamine
- 20 hallucinogenic mushrooms
- 36 grams of cannabis
Additionally, 4,000 euros in cash were confiscated, believed to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
The suspects are set to face their first judicial interrogation, where coercive measures will be determined.
The investigations into this case are being led by the Department of Investigation and Penal Action of Castelo Branco.
