The German Public Prosecutor's Office announced this Wednesday that the recent searches for Madeleine McCann in Lagos, Algarve, were "completed as planned" and, for now, there are no results to present.
"At the moment, it is not yet possible to provide information on the results of the investigation," reads the statement.
At the end of the note, the German Public Prosecutor's Office thanks "all the police officers involved in the searches" and adds that the "cooperation between the Portuguese police and the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) was excellent and very constructive".
Recall that these most recent searches for Maddie, which ended on Thursday, the Portuguese and German authorities found only animal bones and adult clothing that, at first glance, are not evidence related to the disappearance of the British girl.
However, a source from the Portuguese police told Lusa that all the elements seized during the searches will be handed over to the German authorities with the authorization of the Portuguese Public Prosecutor's Office.
Madeleine McCann disappeared on May 3, 2007, a few days before turning four, from the room where she slept with her twin siblings, in an apartment in a tourist village, in Praia da Luz.
