The final days of Lisbon's largest open-air bookstore are approaching. The Lisbon Book Fair will close its doors this Sunday, June 22, after more than two weeks of being open to the public. The event has featured numerous book signings, interviews, and lectures, not to mention the thousands of books sold.

You still have at least three days to visit the event at Eduardo VII Park, near Marquês de Pombal. And what better day to do so than on a holiday?

Take advantage of this Thursday, June 19, the holiday of Corpus Christi, to head to the capital and witness the magic of the 95th edition of the Lisbon Book Fair live. Highlights include various authors signing books and many titles on promotion, making this day full of literary moments, unexpected discoveries, and encounters with culture in all its forms. Whether you're looking for the perfect book to start a reading habit or want a signature from your favorite author, there's always something happening for every taste.

If you're interested in attending the book signings, here's the schedule:

  • Mariana Meliciano at 11 am at Cordel D'Prata with "O Cogumelo Azul".
  • Ana Dias at 2 pm at the same booth with "A Bruxinha que Tinha Medo de Fantasmas".
  • José Gardeazabal and João Tordo at 3 pm at the Penguin Random House stand.
  • Catarina Silva at 4 pm at Editorial Presença signing her debut book, "Gladiadora".
  • Abel Barros Baptista, Clara Rowland, and Ricardo Araújo Pereira at 4:45 pm at Tinta-Da-China.
  • Inês Teixeira Pinheiro at 5 pm at Porto Editora with "A Ilusão que Amei".
  • Rui Tavares at 6 pm back at Tinta-Da-China.
