A PSP chief, who led the neo-Nazi group Movimento Armilar Lusitano, will remain in preventive detention as the legal process unfolds following his arrest on Tuesday.
Three other members of this armed militia, which was formed on social media, were also placed in custody after their first judicial interrogation on Wednesday at the Criminal Investigation Court in Lisbon.
The remaining two individuals detained in Operation 'Desarme 3D', conducted by the Judicial Police (PJ), are required to report to their local police station.
It's noteworthy that Chief Bruno Gonçalves, currently serving in the Lisbon Municipal Police, is accused of crimes related to terrorist group activities and possession of prohibited weapons.
The other three detainees are also suspected of engaging in activities related to a terrorist group, while the remaining two face charges for possessing prohibited weapons.
