The 4th edition of the Kalorama Festival, set to take place from June 19 to 21 at Parque da Bela Vista in Lisbon, will bring traffic and parking restrictions to the area, as announced by the PSP.
Traffic Restrictions
From 08:00 to 04:00, traffic will be affected in several locations including:
- Avenida Arlindo Vicente with Avenida José Régio
- Rua João Palma Ferreira with Rua Ferreira de Castro
- Avenida Avelino Teixeira da Mota with Rua Luísa Neto Jorge
Residents with permits, verified shopkeepers, and identified organization vehicles will be exempt from these restrictions. Emergency lanes will also be maintained.
Parking Restrictions
Parking will not be allowed in:
- Av. Dr. Arlindo Vicente (from June 18 at 08:00 to June 22 at 08:00)
- Rua Luísa Neto Jorge (same dates)
Recommendations
To facilitate mobility, the PSP recommends using public parking nearby and public transportation, including special event services. A dedicated parking area for motorcycles will be available at Avenida Cidade de Bratislava.
Festival Highlights
This year's Kalorama Festival expects around 20,000 attendees daily, featuring performances by Azealia Banks, FKA Twigs, Jorja Smith, and Pet Shop Boys, as well as Portuguese artists like Branko and Best Youth.
The Lisbon Municipal Assembly has approved a non-financial support of 988,579 euros for the event, which was moved forward from August to June.
