More than just a festival, Festival Emergente serves as a vital showcase for young Portuguese musical talent. The seventh edition features exciting acts like Lesma, bbb hairdryer, and Máquina.

A Stage for Portugal's Musical Future

With the goal of providing a platform for the future of Portuguese music, Emergente has revealed the lineup for its seventh edition. The festival takes place at BOTA in Anjos from December 26th to 28th, featuring 18 concerts following the largest-ever participation in its Open Call – 134 applications, 42 more than in 2024.

Diverse Musical Landscape

Since its first edition, Emergente has established itself as a space for discovery and affirmation of new musical projects, blending genres including indie-rock, electronic music, jazz, rap, punk-rock, and singer-songwriter styles.

Complete Festival Lineup Revealed

The first day features Inóspita, Rt-fact, and Canalzero in the afternoon session, followed by Mokina, Mão Cabeça, and Divã in the evening. On the second day, Malva, Markzs, and Roadkill take the stage during the afternoon, followed by Lesma, Mangualde, and Chat GRP. The closing day on December 29th features bbb hairdryer, Falcona, and Beatriz Madruga in the afternoon, with Adoro Protocolo, Parque Império, and Máquina in the evening.

Expanded Selection Process

The quality and quantity of applications led organizers to open two additional spots for Super Emergentes, totaling 11 names selected by a jury composed of musicians, producers, radio hosts, journalists, and other professionals from the sector.

Proven Track Record of Success

Since 2019, Festival Emergente has served as a showcase for over 300 bands and artists from Portugal's new music scene, including names that have since established themselves with their own shows, from Pedro Mafama, Filipe Sambado, Bandua, to projects like Lana Gasparøtti, Humana Taranja, or Marquise.
