Luan Santana Takes Fans to the Moon in Historic Lisbon Tour
"Luan Ao Vivo Na Lua" sold out four shows at the MEO Arena. The current tour by Luan Santana, Brazil's biggest sertanejo artist, took place in Lisbon on August 21, 22, 23, and 24. On the first date, the artist spoke with the media in a press conference before the performances.
The artist stated that after 18 years in his career, it's hard to be surprised, but Lisbon is one of those surprises. "The energy here is really different," he considered, highlighting the high demand for these shows.
"The biggest tour of all time by an artist in Portugal. 100,000 tickets sold out in a few hours," referred the most-listened-to artist in Portugal on Instagram, who has over 9.2 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
In the same interview, he said he has "a lot of desire" to do something with António Zambujo and Salvador Sobral, also highlighting Calema as a source of inspiration. "I'm passionate about Portuguese music," he affirmed.

Inspired by the four phases of the moon, this tour takes on gigantic proportions, with 250 professionals involved in the operation and setup. Ten 24-ton TIR trucks were needed to transport all the technical and scenographic material.
"Luan Ao Vivo Na Lua" celebrates the artist's 18-year career. Several moments will be recorded for an exclusive documentary about this historic passage of Luan Santana through Portugal. This celebration involves many surprises, such as:
Luan Santana x CR7
In collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo, Luan Santana will broadcast the concert on Saturday, August 23 (the first date to sell out), on YouTube starting at 8 PM. It will be possible to watch on the singer's channel and also on the footballer's channel (in celebration of its first year), which already has over 76 million subscribers.
"We are including Portugal in all our projects. This action with Cristiano made me very happy. It will surely be a broadcast that reaches many people around the world, it's something new for me too and I'm happy that it's in Lisbon this big event," he said about this initiative.
On the program "Melhor da Tarde," journalist Leo Dias, who landed in Portugal on Saturday, August 23, to cover the tour, left a warning: "Cristiano Ronaldo might go to Luan Santana's show."
Luan Santana x Pablo Alborán
In the second performance on August 22, Luan Santana surprised fans by bringing a guest. The 31-year-old Spanish singer Pablo Alborán was chosen to take the stage. During this moment, they announced and sang a song together — "Qué Tal Te Va" — with versions in Portuguese and Spanish.

This unprecedented partnership is another bet by Luan Santana on the internationalization of his career. The singer will perform in Madrid, Spain, on October 30, in Paris, France, on October 31, in Geneva, Switzerland, on November 1, and in London, England, on November 2.
"Historic Record"
On October 24 and 25, he will record the DVD "Registro Histórico" in Curitiba, in a stadium sold out on both dates. "It's a journey through my history. We are rescuing all those songs that are so important to the fans and that were part of people's lives," he explained to MAGG.
"It will be a big celebration," he reinforced. "We will travel through all the eras and moments of my life through my songs and my repertoire," he concluded.
"Luan Ao Vivo Na Lua" in Lisbon
The first two concerts of Luan Santana in the Portuguese capital for "Ao Vivo Na Lua" lasted about an hour and a half. The artist delivered an incredible setting that takes fans to the universe, the moon, the sea, nature, and, of course, meteors.
With light shows, costume changes, confetti, and many more elements, he reinforces thanks, leaves words of affection, and strives to meet the expectations of both long-time and newer fans.
Songs in the setlist include "Meio Termo", "Morena", "Acordando o Prédio", "Mulher Segura", "Eu, Você, o Mar e Ela", "Te Vivo", "Escreve Aí", "Te Esperando", "Dona", "Ambiente Errado", "Vingança", "Meteoro", "Tudo o Que Você Quiser", and "Quando a Bad Bater".
There are still tickets for the last performance in Portugal on August 24. You can be in the standing area for €60 or in the golden circle, the closest option to the stage, for €95. Doors open every day at 7 PM, and concerts are scheduled for 8:30 PM.
