The 16th edition of Misty Fest kicks off this Sunday in Porto and will travel to Lisbon, Espinho, and Loulé, running until December 1st. This festival showcases 21 artistic projects across more than 30 concerts, offering a rich blend of international and Portuguese talent.
International Highlights
Among the standout international artists are:
- Gustavo Santaolalla from Argentina, renowned for his soundtracks in The Last of Us, Babel, and Amor Cão, performing on November 10th at Aula Magna in Lisbon.
- Joep Beving, the Dutch pianist, with shows on November 15th at Casa da Música in Porto and November 16th at Teatro São Luiz in Lisbon.
- Makaya McCraven, the American jazz drummer, taking the stage on November 12th at Teatro São Luiz in Lisbon.

Teatro São Luiz in Lisbon will host:
- Polish cellist Dobrawa Czocher with American musician Julianna Barwick on November 13th.
- Spanish pianist Moisés P. Sánchez on November 12th, who also performs on November 11th at Casa da Música in Porto.
- Swiss pianist and singer Yumi Ito on November 15th, with additional concerts on November 14th at Auditório de Espinho and November 16th at Cineteatro Louletano in Loulé.
Portuguese Artists in the Spotlight
Key national performers include:
- Sétima Legião, revisiting their iconic 1984 album A um Deus desconhecido on November 12th at Casa da Música in Porto, and on November 30th and December 1st at Centro Cultural de Belém (CCB) in Lisbon.
- Singer-songwriter Valter Lobo on November 15th at Teatro São Luiz and November 29th at Casa da Música.
- Fado singer LINA_ accompanied by Spanish pianist Marco Mezquida on November 14th at Casa da Música and November 22nd at CCB.
