Two Suspects Arrested in Connection with GNR Boat Collision and Officer's Death
Two suspects have been identified by the GNR for allegedly ramming a GNR boat and killing a military officer on the Guadiana River on Monday night.
The suspects were crossing the bridge in Castro Marim, which separates Portugal and Spain, and were found with a large amount of money when intercepted by the GNR. They have been handed over to the PJ (Judicial Police), who are currently interrogating them.
They are suspected of homicide and three attempted homicides and were already known for drug trafficking crimes in the neighboring country.
