Major Event in Algarve
The "Visit Portugal Travel Trade Market Place" is set to take place from October 22 to 27 in Albufeira, bringing together over 100 North American travel operators and agents. This event aims to enhance commercial relations between Portugal and the US and Canada.
The Algarve Tourism Association (ATA) has announced that approximately 120 national companies, from the Algarve and other regions, will be participating to engage with North American and Canadian buyers, including travel agents and tour operators.
The main goal of this event is to create business opportunities and strengthen commercial ties with specialized agents from the USA and Canada. According to André Gomes, president of Algarve Tourism, this is a unique opportunity for regional companies to boost their commercial relationships and increase the influx of North American and Canadian tourists to the Algarve.
