The Portugal Smart Cities Summit is set to return to the FIL – Feira Internacional de Lisboa from June 3 to 5, 2025, for another edition focused on urban innovation, sustainability, and technology. Organized by the Fundação AIP, this event is the national hub for discussing and presenting solutions that shape the cities of the future, featuring over 120 exhibitors and 140 municipalities.
This year, the summit offers a comprehensive program divided into four thematic areas: Living (quality of life and territorial well-being), Move (smart mobility and logistics), Eco (sustainability and environment), and Connect (technology and urban and territorial intelligence). These areas reflect the main challenges and opportunities faced by contemporary cities.
Lisbon is the invited city for this edition, showcasing its innovative strategies and projects in the conference “Lisbon Capital of Sustainable Innovation” on June 5 at the Grand Auditorium. The Leiria Intermunicipal Community is the invited region, highlighting innovation, inclusion, and territorial sustainability on June 4. The Oeste region will kick off the event on June 3, discussing decarbonization and digital transition in the conference “OESTE – Sustainable Cities and Smart Territories”.
