Workers' Assemblies in Lisbon

Today, Monday, two assemblies are taking place among various union organizations and workers, aimed at deliberating the proposals put forth by the Lisbon Metro Administration.

In the morning assembly, workers voted in favor of suspending the strike scheduled for December 10th, as well as ongoing strikes related to Special Events and overtime work.

The second assembly will continue until 12:30 AM on Tuesday, when a final decision regarding the suspension or continuation of the mentioned strikes will be announced. Union organizations have indicated that “everything suggests that the strikes in question will be suspended.”

The Lisbon Metro emphasizes the constructive spirit that has guided the negotiations and urges customers to stay informed through the media and the company’s communication channels, where all updates regarding the planned strike for tomorrow, Tuesday, will be made available.
