São Brás de Alportel is set to host the Feira da Serra from Thursday to Sunday, showcasing an expanded venue and over 70 hours of performances across six stages. This year's edition promises to be bigger and more vibrant, with Matias Damásio, Emanuel, Pedro Abrunhosa, and Carolina Deslandes headlining the event.
A Feast for the Senses
With over 300 exhibitors, 22 thematic spaces, nine dining areas, and a dozen snack spots, the fair offers a deep dive into the culture, traditions, and gastronomy of the Algarve's mountainous region. The highlight this year is honey, a product deeply intertwined with the Algarve's identity, inspiring the thematic spaces spread across the four-hectare site.
Community and Innovation at Heart
The fair is a testament to the community's involvement, with around 2,700 people participating in its organization. A new addition, "Serra Tech", aims to blend technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, encouraging investment in the Algarve's interior.
More Accessible and Secure
Organizers have made the event more accessible and safer, emphasizing its role as a catalyst for the valorization of the Algarve's interior. The fair continues to honor traditions while showcasing the crafts, flavors, and culture of the Algarve mountains, featuring live artisan demonstrations in its Aldeia Serrana and Encontro de Ofícios.
