Street Arts and Performances in Sines

This weekend, don't miss the 7th edition of M.A.R. Mostra de Artes de Rua in Sines, organized by Teatro do Mar. From Friday, September 12th to Sunday, September 14th, enjoy free street performances including circus acts, theater, dance, art installations, and interactive games from nine countries. Highlights start at 6:30 PM on Friday at Largo Poeta Bocage with the circus show High Tea (With a Twist) by Levantes Dance Theatre.

Gastronomic Experiences in Lisbon

In the capital, indulge in culinary treats. On Saturday, Lupita pizzeria takes over Esplanada Príncipe Real from 5 PM, offering three types of pizzettas for €8.50 each, featuring flavors like la tomatina and pepperoni, with a secret third option.

For ice cream lovers, the new Brera gelateria on Rua Áurea offers over 25 artisanal flavors, including pistachio, mascarpone with amarena, and salted caramel, priced from €3.50 to €5.50.

Independent Book Fair in Lisbon

The FLIFA 2025 – Festa do Livro Independente happens at Mercado de Arroios from September 12th to 14th, featuring over 100 independent publishers and bookstores. Activities include workshops for children with Yara Kono and André Letria, staged readings by Artistas Unidos, and a typography workshop. Doors open at 5 PM on Friday with free entry.

Jazz Festival in Sintra

The Jazz em Monserrate festival returns to Monserrate Park in Sintra, celebrating jazz fused with other art forms. Maria Carvalho "Margem" kicks off on Friday at 7 PM, followed by Dominic Ingham on Saturday and Maria João on Sunday. Daily tickets cost €15.

Brazilian band BaianaSystem performs in Porto at Hard Club on Friday, at Pé na Terra festival in Almancil on Saturday, and at Monsantos Open Air in Lisbon on Sunday.

For families, the play O Dia Não runs at LU.CA - Teatro Luís de Camões in Lisbon from Saturday to September 21st, with tickets at €7 for adults and €3 for children.

Contemporary Opera in Lisbon

The BoCA – Bienal de Artes Contemporâneas presents the opera Adilson directed by Dino D'Santiago at CCB in Lisbon from Friday to Sunday, based on Rui Catalão's text, with tickets from €15 to €25. It also shows in Braga on September 19th.
