Exciting Announcements for Tribeca Festival Lisboa
The second edition of Tribeca Festival Lisboa is set to take place from October 30 to November 1, and it has just announced the participation of renowned names from the film industry. The event will feature the screening of 18 films, including documentaries and series, as well as 14 live podcasts and discussions on cinema, theater, and literature, all spread across five new stages.
Big Names Joining the Festival
New heavyweight names were presented this Thursday, joining the lineup for the Tribeca Festival Lisboa. Among them are:
- Edie Falco, acclaimed for her role in the series Sopranos and a four-time Emmy winner.
- Ava DuVernay, an award-winning director and producer with two Emmys.
- Verónica Falcón, a talented actress.
- Ed Westwick, one of the stars of Gossip Girl, now participating in the series Sandokan: The Pirate Prince, which will be screened at the festival.
Film Highlights
The festival's program includes 18 films, such as the drama All We Cannot See and the dramedy If I Had Legs I'd Kick You. Also featured is Ritas, a documentary about the Brazilian singer Rita Lee, along with other titles like Dreams and Honeyjoon.
Engaging Conversations and Live Podcasts
Conversations are making a comeback and remain a key focus. At the Creative Hub in Beato, topics will extend to television, theater, and literature. The event will host 14 live podcasts, including Geração 80, Voz de Cama, and A Beleza das Pequenas Coisas, offering a diverse experience across five new stages like the Teatro Ibérico and Convento do Beato.
