Two of the luxury watches stolen from the Ritz Hotel during Friday's robbery have been recovered and handed over to the PSP (Public Security Police), as reported by Público and confirmed by the Observador with the Lisbon Metropolitan Command (Cometlis).
A passerby discovered the two watches near Eduardo VII Park, close to the hotel from which the robbers escaped on scooters, and contacted the PSP to hand them over. According to Cometlis, the recovery took place on Saturday, though no further details about the find were disclosed.
The watches have since been transferred from the PSP to the Judicial Police (PJ), which is leading the investigation into the case. The robbery, which occurred on Friday morning, involved four men—at least one of whom was armed—targeting two shops in the Ritz Hotel's lobby. The suspects remain at large.
