Incident Details

A 13-year-old cyclist was involved in a serious accident on Friday afternoon in Lisbon. The incident occurred on Avenida de Pádua, near the Cabo Ruivo metro station.

What Happened

According to witnesses interviewed by CM, the young cyclist was riding at excessive speed. In an attempt to change direction, the cyclist entered the opposite lane (riding against traffic) and collided with a vehicle.

Emergency Response

The cyclist required immediate medical assistance at the scene. The alert was issued to the Lisbon Firefighters Regiment at 16:54. Additional support was provided by the Ajuda Volunteer Firefighters and the Public Security Police (PSP).

All emergency services worked together to ensure the young cyclist received proper care following this dangerous traffic incident.
