Pedro Sampaio, the renowned Brazilian DJ, has been officially announced to perform at the Palco Mundo during Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026. Known for his electrifying tracks like "Dançarina" and "Cavalinho", Sampaio promises to deliver an unforgettable show, calling it the biggest "Cavalinho" in history.
"I have a huge affection for the Portuguese audience, who welcomed me from the start. Every show there is special, but being on the Palco Mundo at Rock in Rio Lisboa, one of the biggest festivals in the world, is truly a dream come true. Expect an unforgettable moment," says Pedro Sampaio.
With two Play - Prémios da Música Portuguesa awards under his belt in the Lusofonia category, Sampaio is no stranger to Portugal. His upcoming performance marks his fifth visit to the country, following a successful Eurotour that included stops at various summer festivals across Portugal, from Porto to the Algarve.
In 2024, Sampaio closed Rock in Rio Lisboa with a record-breaking performance at the Palco Galp. His solo tour in 2023 saw a sold-out MEO Arena, and he also made a memorable appearance at MEO Sudoeste in 2022.
Since 2021, Pedro Sampaio has been one of the most streamed artists on Spotify in Portugal, hitting the #1 spot twice with his singles. Currently, he boasts six tracks in the top 200 on the platform and three official music videos in the top of YouTube's music charts in Portugal.
Pedro Sampaio is the second artist confirmed for the next edition of Rock in Rio Lisboa, following the announcement of Linkin Park. The festival is set to take place on June 20, 21, 27, and 28, 2026, at Parque Papa Francisco in Lisbon.
