European Heritage Days Return with a Bang
The European Heritage Days are back for 2025, offering an incredible lineup of free activities from September 12 to 21. This year's theme, "Architectural Heritage: Windows to the Past and Doors to the Future," celebrates the 50th anniversary of the European Year of Heritage, emphasizing the importance of cultural preservation across Europe.
Coordinated by Portugal's Directorate-General for Cultural Heritage (DGPC), the initiative features more than 700 events in museums, monuments, and palaces nationwide. Most events are free, making it accessible for everyone to explore Portugal's rich cultural tapestry.
