Irish Couples Flocking to the Algarve for Weddings

The Algarve has become a top choice for couples from Ireland looking to tie the knot. The region's beautiful landscapes, delicious cuisine, and favorable weather are just a few reasons why it attracts so many.

Paula Grade, a wedding planner with nearly two decades of experience in the Algarve, started her journey in wedding organization thanks to an Irish bride. Along with her friend Karina Sousa, they founded Algarve Wedding Planners 18 years ago and have since expanded their services by acquiring an event space called Monte do Serrinho five years ago.

With flexible flight options, hospitality, and stunning beaches, the Algarve is increasingly popular for both symbolic and religious weddings among Irish couples. Paula Grade notes, "There is a lot of interest."

Whether you're dreaming of a picturesque beach ceremony or a charming countryside celebration, the Algarve offers the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable wedding experience.
