Dramatic Incident at O Chefe Barbosa

Around 9 PM, a 20-year-old man caused chaos at the restaurant O Chefe Barbosa in S. Cosme, Gondomar, after arriving intoxicated from a nearby café with friends. Restaurant owner Noémia Barbosa recounted how the situation spiraled out of control: "It all happened so quickly. He started breaking everything, including the windows, and it was from one of those glass shards that he got hurt."

The damages amounted to approximately €1,500.

Emergency Response and Assault

With blood everywhere, Noémia called for help. An ambulance from the Gondomar Fire Department and another from the National Institute of Medical Emergency (INEM) arrived on the scene. However, while being treated, the intoxicated customer assaulted an INEM technician, causing facial injuries.

Both the technician and the man, identified as Miguel, were taken to Santo António Hospital in Porto for treatment. Miguel was noted to have a significant arm hemorrhage and was later identified by the police, who forwarded the incident report to the Public Prosecutor's Office.

Despite the severity of the situation, Miguel was released without any immediate consequences and was spotted the next morning back at the café, drinking again.
