Get Ready for an Exciting Weekend at the Spectacular Cabaret Fest
On October 17 and 18, the Espaço Laboratório will transform into a vibrant stage for the 6th edition of the Spectacular Cabaret Fest. After a brief hiatus in 2024, this festival is set to bring together an eclectic mix of burlesque, dance, drag, circus, music, magic, and comedy, aimed at creating a space where diversity and artistic freedom reign supreme.

Headlining the event are Louise Lamour and Veronique DiVine, directors of the Grande Cabaret Lisboa, alongside the Portuguese artistic group Belle Domage and international burlesque icon Missy Fatale. This year’s host will be the Spanish performer Mr. Von Whatever.
In addition to prominent acts, the festival is also giving a platform to emerging artists through a competition for new burlesque talents, with sign-ups open until May 4.
The Spectacular Cabaret Fest has thrived without institutional funding or public support, relying instead on the dedication of the community and volunteers for its past five editions. This year, to cover essential production expenses such as venue rental, set design, artist fees, and equipment, the organizing team has launched a GoFundMe account, accessible via the link in the Instagram bio of @thespectacularcabaretfestival.
