Extreme right group Habeas Corpus interrupted an LGBTI+ book club meeting in Lisbon's Orlando Ribeiro municipal library, Telheiras, this Tuesday. The session was set to discuss Dar e Receber Amar em Todas as Suas Formas by Sara Dias de Oliveira.
According to RTP, Djalme dos Santos, a member of Habeas Corpus, attended the introduction by António Vale, president of AMPLOS. Santos aimed to present a "counterargument," calling attendees "ideological terrorists" and stating, "Homosexuality is a disease."
Before the incident, Santos shared a video on social media, intending to challenge the "terrorist book." He mentioned going alone to ask questions but was later removed by authorities, as noted in a Telegram post by the group.
