Campolide is set to host three nights of free outdoor music from July 4 to July 6, transforming Praça de Campolide into one of the city's most captivating stages. The festival, Músicas de uma Noite de Verão, organized by the Campolide Parish Council, blends music, culture, and community in a relaxed, open-air setting.
A Diverse Lineup for All Tastes
The festival kicks off on Friday, July 4, at 8:30 PM with a family-friendly, accessible version of Mozart's The Magic Flute, narrated by Jorge Rodrigues and performed by pianist Joana Rolo. At 9:45 PM, Luísa Amaro will honor the centenary of Carlos Paredes' birth with a tribute to the Portuguese guitar.
Saturday, July 5, features an improvisational performance by maestro António Vitorino de Almeida and accordionist Paulo Jorge Ferreira at 8:30 PM, followed by Teresa Salgueiro's poetic and emotional concert at 9:45 PM.
The festival concludes on Sunday, July 6, with Ben Colton, a rising star in Portuguese soul, promising a vibrant performance influenced by Motown, jazz, and Afro-European sounds.
